Diving in Anilao and Puerto Galera

The municipality of Puerto Galera calls the Verde Island Passage between Luzon and Mindoro the world's center of marine biodiversity. Boats in Sabang travel to Verde Island and over to Anilao during the day. If you only arrive in Manila in the afternoon, you'll have to stay overnight before the crossing because boats from Batangas to Puerto Galera have limited service at night. According to the weather bureau PAGASA, most typhoons occur between July and October.
