Diving in Koh Tao and Koh Samui
Almost every route to the islands goes via Bangkok, which you can fly to non-stop from Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna and Zurich. From there, Bangkok Airways flies non-stop to Koh Samui. By night train or night bus, you can reach Chumphon and take a ferry to Koh Tao in the morning. From late October to early January, the northeast monsoon brings most of the rain, so the basil scorpions on Koh Tao move to the sheltered west side. During the southwest monsoon from mid-May, they move to the east coast.
