Diving in Mindanao
Camiguin, Siargao and Davao have their own airports under the CAAP aviation authority. Travelling from Germany, Austria or Switzerland, you will have to change planes at least once on your way there. According to the PAGASA weather bureau, most typhoons that cross the Philippines do not directly hit Mindanao. On Camiguin and Samal, rainfall is spread more or less evenly throughout the year, while Siargao has no dry month and receives most of its rain from December to February.
