Diving in Adelaide and South Australia
Port Noarlunga, with its jetty and reef, is located half an hour from the city according to Diving Adelaide and is South Australia's most visited dive site, popular with instructors for diving courses. The reefs off Port Noarlunga and Aldinga are recommended by the park management for beginners to snorkel. Both are located in the Encounter Marine Park, in whose conservation zones you are allowed to dive and fishing is prohibited. The state's only hyperbaric chamber is located at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in the middle of Adelaide.
