Diving in the Galápagos

You fly to the Galápagos from Quito or Guayaquil, as flights to the islands only operate from there. Before departure, you collect a Transit Control Card at the airport, and your luggage is inspected to prevent non-native species from being introduced to the islands. You land on Baltra or San Cristóbal, where rangers collect the entry fee and cruise operators pick you up. Since there are no hotels near Baltra Airport, Aggressor recommends spending the night before in Quito or Guayaquil.
