Diving in the Visayas
Almost every route to the Visayas via Mactan-Cebu Airport involves at least one connection from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. After Malapascua, you take a bus to Maya Port and cross over by bangka, while to Moalboal you take a Ceres bus from Cebu City. Ferries run to Bohol, Dumaguete, and Siquijor. Diving takes place year-round, and during the habagat, the southwest monsoon from June to October, boats head to the sheltered side of the island.
