Diving in Palau
To get to Palau, you fly over Guam, Manila, Taipei, or Tokyo to Palau International Airport. Upon arrival, you sign the Palau Pledge, which is stamped into your passport. For diving in the Rock Islands, you purchase a permit from the state of Koror at the base. You are not allowed to bring in sunscreens that damage the reefs, and payments are made in US dollars.
