Diving in Gran Canaria
El Cabrón and the Arona wreck are located off different coasts: the dive site in the southeast off Arinaga, and the wreck in the northeast off Las Palmas. Some dive shops call El Cabrón a marine reserve, but it is officially a Natura 2000 site, and there are no marine reserves on Gran Canaria. In the town of Playa de Arinaga, there is a dive shop that claims to dive El Cabrón every day.
