What’s inside the guide

Diving Atlas Pattaya and Koh Chang

In Pattaya, you take a dive center’s day boat to the islands off the coast. Koh Larn, Koh Sak, and Koh Khrok are close by and sheltered, and Seafari takes beginners and dive courses there. Further out lies the HTMS Khram at Koh Phai, the first ship the Navy sank off Pattaya to create an artificial reef. At Samae San south of Pattaya, you dive in waters supervised by the Navy, and since 2024, also at two patrol boats off Koh Chuang. At Koh Chang, the boats depart from Bang Bao, heading to the HTMS Chang and the national park around Koh Rang. Koh Mak Divers also runs trips there from Koh Mak.

Here, you dive through a dive center, on a day boat, or at a house reef. Instead of entry and parking, each profile lists the harbor and the boat ride time. The dive center’s weekly schedule shows you how a dive week is organized. In the accommodation section, the band compares which dive center and house reef belong to which property. Restaurants and excursions for non-diving days are listed with a map link, along with airport transfers and the chapter on emergencies and hyperbaric chambers.

You will receive an A5-format PDF that you can read on your phone or tablet while on the go and print as a booklet at home.

Depths, currents and entries change. The guide does not replace a briefing on site or your training.

Questions about the booklet “Diving Atlas Pattaya and Koh Chang”
