Diving Atlas Cozumel and Cenotes
The reefs off the west coast of Cozumel are a national park, and there you can only dive with a licensed guide. In the mornings, the day boats set off, the group jumps into the water together and drifts with the current, which on the west coast usually flows north; the boat follows on the surface. In the cenotes on the mainland opposite, a guide who is a diving instructor and cave diver leads you along a permanently fixed line through the daylight zone. There is no direct flight to Cozumel from the German-speaking area, and passenger ferries go to the island from Playa del Carmen.
Here you dive from a base, with the day boat or at the house reef. Instead of entry and parking, every portrait mentions the harbor and the boat ride time. In the weekly schedule of a base, you can see how a diving week is organized. In the accommodations, the band compares which base and which house reef belong to a house. Restaurants and excursions for non-diving days are listed with a map link in the band, as well as the transfer from the airport and the chapter on emergencies and the hyperbaric chamber.
You get a PDF in A5 format, which you can read on your phone or tablet on the go and print at home as a booklet.
