Diving bases and accommodations in Vietnam

In Vietnam, each diving area has its own season. In Nha Trang Bay, day boats run all year round, except for the core zone around Hon Mun Island, which is closed to divers. Further north on Whale Island, you can dive from the beach from late February to October. Near Hoi An, boats run from February to mid-October to the Cham Islands, which together with Hoi An form a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. In Con Dao National Park, you can see sea turtles, preferably from March to September. On Phu Quoc in the Gulf of Thailand, you can dive from October to April; most sites are located in the archipelago south of An Thoi.

This booklet lets you choose a base and accommodation together. It compares the dive bases and the guesthouses next to them, which base and house reef belong to which guesthouse, and how far the walk to the boat is. For each accommodation, it states whether there is space to rinse and dry your equipment and whether an early breakfast is available. For non-diving days, the booklet lists restaurants and excursions, each with a link to its location on the map.

You will receive an A5-format PDF that you can read on your phone or tablet while on the go and print out as a booklet at home.
