Dive bases and accommodations on the Cayman Islands
Bloody Bay Wall and Jackson Bight are located on the north side of Little Cayman, where dive boats circle the western tip of the island to reach the buoys. The sea in front of them is a marine reserve; boats moor at fixed buoys there, and commercial operators need a permit. Stingray City and the sandbar in Grand Cayman’s North Sound are the two areas where you can interact with the stingrays, but you are not allowed to pick them up out of the water. After Little Cayman, you fly with Cayman Airways Express on a Twin Otter. Gloves are banned for diving everywhere on the islands.
This booklet lets you choose a dive base and accommodation together. It compares the dive bases and the nearby guesthouses, showing which base and house reef belong to which guesthouse and how far the walk to the boat is. For each accommodation, it states whether there is space to rinse and dry your equipment and whether an early breakfast is available. For non-diving days, the booklet lists restaurants and excursions, with a map link for each location.
You will receive an A5-format PDF that you can read on your phone or tablet while on the go and print out as a booklet at home.
