En Pattaya, tomas un barco de día con una base de buceo para visitar las islas frente a la costa. Koh Larn, Koh Sak y Koh Khrok están cerca y protegidas, y Seafari lleva allí a principiantes y a los cursos de buceo. Más lejos, cerca de Koh Phai, se encuentra el HTMS Khram, el primer barco que la Armada hundió frente a Pattaya para crear un arrecife artificial. En Samae San, al sur de Pattaya, buceas en aguas supervisadas por la Armada y, desde 2024, también en dos barcos patrulleros frente a Koh Chuang. En Koh Chang, los barcos parten desde Bang Bao hacia el HTMS Chang y el parque nacional de Koh Rang. Koh Mak Divers también hace esta ruta desde Koh Mak.

Wie komme ich vom Flughafen Bangkok nach Pattaya?

Vom Flughafen Suvarnabhumi in Bangkok fährst du mit dem Überlandbus nach Pattaya, er fährt am Busbahnhof des Flughafens und am Gate 8 auf Ebene 1 ab. Seafari rechnet ab Bangkok mit rund 2 Stunden im Auto oder Bus, und viele Basen holen dich am Hotel ab. Nonstop nach Bangkok fliegst du aus Frankfurt, München, Wien und Zürich.

Wie komme ich nach Koh Chang?

Nach Koh Chang fliegst du mit Bangkok Airways nonstop von Suvarnabhumi nach Trat oder nimmst ab dem Flughafen den Überlandbus Richtung Laem Ngop und Koh Chang. Die Autofähre der Koh Chang Ferry legt in Ao Thammachat bei Laem Ngop ab. Vom Flughafen Trat gibt es Verbindungen zu den Piers nach Koh Chang, Koh Mak und Koh Kood.

Brauche ich für Pattaya ein Visum?

Für einen Urlaub in Pattaya brauchen Deutsche und Österreicher kein Visum vor der Einreise, seit dem 15. September 2026 gewährt Thailand dann höchstens 30 Tage. Du reist mit einem Reisepass ein, der noch sechs Monate gültig ist, und füllst frühestens drei Tage vor der Ankunft online die kostenlose digitale Einreisekarte aus.
