Chumphon Pinnacle lies northwest of the island, while the wreck of the HTMS Sattakut, a decommissioned Royal Thai Navy landing craft, is off the west coast. Dive centers from both Koh Tao and Koh Phangan, as well as from Koh Samui, sail to Sail Rock in the open water between Koh Tao and Koh Phangan.
